What is Caelum?
Caelum is a personal journal where you choose a feeling each day and keep the day in a few words or a short video. The days you keep turn into a monthly map of stars.
What is Celestial?
Celestial is Caelum’s premium plan. It includes everything in the free plan, plus daily video memories. Current prices are shown in the app and in the app store.
What is CelesTogether?
CelesTogether is a friends feature coming to Caelum in the future. It isn’t available yet; details will appear on this page once they’re settled.
Is Caelum free?
Yes, there is a free plan: choosing feelings, written memories and monthly maps are free. Daily video memories are part of the Celestial subscription.
Which devices does Caelum run on?
Caelum is being developed for iPhone (iOS 16.4 or later). Store links will appear on this site once the app is published.
Which languages does Caelum support?
Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
Does Caelum have ads?
No, the app currently has no ads and no advertising tracking.
Are my videos private?
Yes. Your videos are encrypted before they leave your phone, and details like location are removed. They can only be viewed from your account.
Can other users access my memories?
No. Your memories are never shown to other users.
Does AI analyse my videos?
No. Your videos are not analysed and are never sent to the AI provider.
Does AI read my written memories?
No. Your written memories are never sent to the AI provider.
Which data is used for the AI analysis?
Only the feelings you chose that month and their dates, the map details computed from them, and that month’s astronomical data (such as the Moon’s phases).
Is the AI analysis mandatory?
No, it is optional.
Can I use Caelum without the AI analysis?
Yes. Keeping memories, storing videos, choosing feelings and monthly maps all work fully without the AI reading.
How do I delete my memories?
Deleting individual memories isn’t available in the app yet. If you want a memory deleted, write to support@appcaelum.com; to delete all your memories, you can delete your account.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Details are on the Account Deletion page.
How do subscriptions work?
The free plan includes written memories and monthly maps. The Celestial subscription adds daily video memories. It is bought through the App Store or Google Play and renews automatically unless cancelled.
How do I cancel a subscription?
On iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
How do I restore purchases?
In the app, go to Settings → Restore purchases. You must be signed in with the store account you bought the subscription with.
What happens when my storage limit is reached?
New videos can’t be uploaded; you can keep writing memories and viewing your existing ones.
